Size Matters

It’s true what they say: Everything is big in Texas, and that goes for the massive 68,000-square foot Ag-Power facility in McKinney, Texas, also the home of our corporate office.

This gargantuan new state-of-the-art facility was designed with the expectations and demands of our customers and the equipment we sell in mind.

Ag-Power corporate has 33 full time employees totaling over 300 years combined experience working for the Ag-Power team, and learning continually about the equipment and the brands we offer. All of our employees are inspired by agriculture, equipment, and doing their best to make our customers’ projects go smoothly.

You’ll be in awe of our roomy retail area showcasing all of Ag-Power’s tractors, agricultural equipment, lawn gear and power tools. As with all of Ag-Power stores, you can look forward to outstanding customer service.

Some History

The seeds of what is now known as Ag-Power were planted in 1972, in a small Quonset building located in Frisco, Texas. Shortly thereafter, the dealership grew and moved to its location now in west McKinney.

This building was remodeled in 1993, which included the addition of a new larger shop area. But this only contained us for a short number of years, as loyal Ag-Power customers’ continued to rely on us for their plowing, mowing and harvesting equipment needs.

Today, Ag-Power has grown, and so have customers’ expectations. This necessitated the construction of a newer, even bigger facility on Hwy 75 just south of the Collin County Court House.

McKinney’s enormous indoor showroom consists of over 17,000 square feet, giving our customers an abundance of space so they can shop in comfort. We carry it all, and some of what you might not expect to find! Items range from toy trucks and caps, to power washers, tractors—and lawn maintenance equipment for the residential, commercial or large property owner.

Parts & Service

Ag-Power’s McKinney store’s parts department stocks over $1 million worth of items, which includes maintaining a year-round supply of over 1,000 different belts so that we have all our customers’ expectations covered. Yep, we’ve got your belt.

The service department boasts an ample 24,000 square feet of shop space with six overhead cranes ranging from one-ton to ten-ton capacity. We aim to get the job done right and in the safest environment possible.

You think you’ve seen a big tractor wash? Well, you’ve never been to Ag-Power in McKinney. Bigger than a Texas-sized cattle barn, this tractor wash will wow you as you gaze up at its towering presence. Ag-Power’s accommodating, powerful tractor wash is one tall, on the ball, get-it-done machine.

We know it’s hot, so we help keep our customers cool by offering a convenient drive-thru service bay, providing easy access for dropping-off and picking up equipment. And, with temperatures sometimes shooting up into triple digits, crews are encouraged to fill their ice chests and drink coolers from our Texas-sized ice machine free of charge.

Many of our employees have grown up in this area or in smaller farming communities. A Note From the McKinney Location

“Growing up on a farm in Collin County, I found agriculture—farming and cultivation of the land—and farm equipment to be one of the more enjoyable, rewarding things in life. I joined the Ag-Power team in 1986 as a technician and assisting in the parts department.

In 1994 I was given the opportunity to sell the best farm/garden equipment in the world. During my years of working with Ag-Power I have made a lot of lifelong, like-minded friends whom I greatly cherish. Although days are long and sometimes stressful, the joy of the friendships made in the process and the satisfaction of serving our customers makes the long day worth everything we put into it.
